Nightingayle Art Center

Youth Art Center Overview

Nightingayle Art Center believes that children should be able to explore their artistic side without being told exactly how their art should look.  That is why our lessons focus on teaching and modeling basic artistic principles and techniques, and guiding children as they implement those ideas.

Mediums used in classes include pencil, charcoal, chalk pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, construction paper, watercolors and acrylic paint. Children learn by working through our 4 different art curriculum’s: EPIC Curriculum, Global Art Passport Curriculum, Art Through The Ages Curriculum, and the Art on a Cart mini-Curriculum. Also by practicing drawing and painting still-lives, working from photos and other paintings, and their own imaginations.

Nightingayles goal is to give each child the artistic techniques and experience necessary to develop their own personal style. Children's art class sizes are small to ensure we can give each child the attention they need

About me

Hello, My name is Ronikae or Rk! It is officially time to announce my newest adventure! I have opened The Nightingayle Art, Community, and Wellness Center in honor of my late mother Judith Gayle Fitzgerald. What started as a place for my son to progressively work on his art skills, has turned into so much more! We will be offering Art Class for all ages. Classes and schedule will expand to meet demand. Currently I am offering youth art classes 2 times a week, hoping this will grow. Monday and Wednesday @ 3:30 during the summer, or at least until soccer is over. If I have a lot of kids sign up I will add more classes to the schedule.
